Savoury Crepes

Ingredients:

 

Crepes:

Whole wheat flour 1 cup

Egg 2

Egg whites 4

Skim milk 1 cup

Salt

Olive oil 1 tbs

 

Stuffing

Chicken breast 4

Green onion 4 cut in small circles

Garlic 4 pieces

Parsley 1/2 cup

Sweet corn 1 cup

Capsicum 1/2 cup

Oregano 1/2 tsp

Skim milk 1 cup

Corn starch 1.5 tsp

Salt 1/2 tsp

Black pepper

Oil 1 tbs

 

 

Procedure:

 

Crepes: mix all ingredients very well and keep aside

Stuffing:

  1. Boil the chicken till well cooked, then cut them very thin slices.
  2. Stir fry the onion and the garlic then add the chicken and cook them together then add the salt and the pepper.
  3. Add the sweet corn and the capsicum, then the oregano, parsley and then the milk.
  4. mix the corn starch in little water, then add it to the chicken mix and mix well till all ingredients are combined well.
  5. Heat the pan then pour a thin layer of the crepes mix and spread around the pan.
  6. Once the bottom of the crepes is dry and gold brown in color, flip it on the other side.
  7. Remove the crepes from the pan, add around 1 tbs of the chicken mix and roll the crepes.
